RIP Lucy 2/11/2011
Lucy.... This is so hard for me to write, because thinking about missing you makes me so sad.
Sometimes life brings you unexpected blessings. You were definitly a blessing that I never planned to find. We were so lucky to find you and spend a great ten years enjoying your company. You brought us so much joy, always gentle and never demanding to be noticed. You brought me so much comfort, I always enjoyed sitting with you and petting your velvet black fur... like my very own real life "pillow pet". When I was feeling stressed, you were always there to help me feel calm.
Rylie is missing you helping her fall asleep every night... she now says she is lonely... thank you for keeping her company and taking such good care of her.
Ella is thinking about you playing with Sage in Heaven ... I hope that you are enjoying his company again and eating lots of bread!
We will never forget your two "tricks" Speaking and shaking hands.... You were so smart!
May we always find your black fur around the house.
There will never be another dog that could replace you.... you are the best. The bar has been set so high with the gentle and genuine love that you brought to our home.
I will never forget you... you will always be in my heart.
